Sunday 20th June 2004

The first day of the challenge was in the Cairn Gorm range in Northern Scotland. Despite a combination of snow and poor visibility, we ascended all 5 of the peaks over 4000ft that formed part of the challenge.  The poor weather slowed us down and we were walking for around 15 hours.

Cairn Gorm - 4081 feet

Ben MacDui - 4295 feet

Carn Toul - 4236 feet

Sgor An Lochan Uaine - 4127 feet

Braeriach - 4252 feet
